Husbands!
Alex's husband, apparently unaware of the subtle difference between stitching, quilting, sewing (for fun) and making alterations, asked her to sew a button onto his pants. Loving wife that she is, complies, and adds a little extra - a pretty little stitched heart right on his butt! We thought his butt would get quite a bit of attention soon!

He tried then on when I got home and heart went un-noticed! After doing the school run this morning I came home to fine both him and the pants gone and no death threats left anywhere...Annette will be having fun at work today! ;-P

ReplyDeleteHe's a spoilsport!! He pulled it off before he left this morning! I guess my last mending effort (involving a red fire hydrant appliqued on his crotch) left him a little suspicious and traumatized!

ReplyDeleteAh, I thought i saw him wearing the trousers when he came in to pay for something.... But I didn't see a love heart, and I didn't want to tease him in front of strangers!!
