Busy bees

Last night brought out the quilters despite the horrid weather! Our best wishes to Tania, who wasn't feeling too well; hope things look up soon.
Margo was finishing off some bonnets with Annette's 'encouragement', Lorraine and Rosie were working on their quilts, Sue was continuing with her Xmas stitchery, Helen with her cross stitch, and I was making my very last star for my swap quilt. Great to see Marg again, too. Somebody had brought in some interesting mags, and Annette brought in her "Kiwi" tea.
Lorraine was putting the binding on a lovely Christmas table runner. The white chenille gave interesting texture to the runner and looked very much like a winter Xmas!
Margo also completed the top of her Christmas runner, a French braid QAYG style. Can't wait to see that one finished! Looks quite

And here's my last swap star!

  1. Great work girls! Everything looks lovely! I hope I'll be back next week with 2 working wrists!

  2. Hurrah! The last block for Donna and the last strips for Margot!!

  3. Margo and Donna, you both look pretty happy to be at the 'end' of your projects. I look forward to more show and tell on Wed night. xxx Andrea
