Ann Smith alias Mary Ann Williams - had a dark complexion, round head, light brown hair and hazel eyes. She had a burn scar on inside right arm above the wrist and a cut on the little finger on her left hand.

This is where we were up to on June 15th - 8 finished and two to go. Pretty good huh!! I think they all look amazing.

Annette was sewing on her quilt binding so was able to use the quilt to keep warm!!


Work continued tonight on the bonnets and concentration levels were high!!

Tonight we sewed the ribbons and buttons on the bonnets. Margo made a beautiful model, don't you think?

Results so far - haven't we done well!

Here was Margo zig zagging the seam edge - note finished hat in front of the sewing machine - well it needs ribbon and embroidery but most of the machine sewing is done - lots of creativity was unleashed when deciding what to put on the brim of the hat. It was wonderful to all be working on something together - very good feeling.

What a great night we had last night - lots of chat, laughter, encouragement, teaching, designing, playing and we sewed as well!! We has a little production line with sewing, gathering, pinning, more sewing and even some modelling! The hats are coming along beautifully!!
